We’re looking for a Social Media Data Analyst to join the growing EMEA PAY TV social team to help identify and measure social and digital KPIs, pull relevant insights and help shape social strategy and monetization at scale.
You will report into the Senior Social Media Strategist and be tasked with day-to-day ownership of social media data from YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, web and additional social media networks that may be relevant to an activation, region or campaign.
You will be responsible for pulling the right data, work on visualization and create a consistent cadence of reports to visualize growth, opportunities, establish benchmarks, and identify poor performance.
You will focus on EMEA brands like Discovery Channel, TLC, Animal Planet, HGTV. The successful candidate will be a highly organized individual who is numbers-driven and analytical. Problem solving will be at the forefront of working as a Social Media Data Analyst, with deep knowledge of what makes our audiences tick and a keen interest in the ever-evolving trends of the social media landscape.

Supporting the PR Manager across all lifestyle- (TLC, Food Network, HGTV, ID and Travel Channel) and factual (Discovery, Discovery Science, Discovery World, Animal Planet) brands. The role supports locally based PR Execs to ensure a coordinated approach to PR and Talent Activity – liaising directly with the U.S Nets and Talent Teams when needed. The candidate rolls out publicity campaigns within EMEA to deliver high profile press coverage for the network’s flagship Pay TV channels. Working in line with the EMEA business priorities, the PR executive has in depth knowledge of the PR needs of the individual regions part of EMEA and collaborates closely with the PR Manager EMEA to coordinate all needs. This role reports into the PR Manager EMEA.
This is an exciting opportunity to support the marketing of Discovery’s world-leading factual portfolio across multiple territories in EMEA.
Working closely with the regional teams, you will develop and implement B2B marketing initiatives to support our channel brands and build our content franchises. You will also work closely with central marketing leads for consumer facing marketing materials.
You may be required to travel overseas at short notice from time to time.
Working alongside the creative and marketing teams, the Preditor is primarily responsible for creating engaging creative content for our brands, especially our 4 flagships, whilst adhering to their individual look and feel. Having a clear understanding of multiple content platforms, a passion for social media and optimal viewer engagement is essential.
This role requires advanced fast pace editing, graphics and grading skills using Avid Media Composer, and After Effects (or their equivalent). The lead language is English but foreign languaging versions will be required. An international mindset is key.
The Preditor will be expected to actively look, foresee and be across social trends, developments and global topics. We are a central team that needs to be on the pulse delivering to regionals hubs, in good time to keep us/them relevant.

The Pay TV & Global Brands factual team is responsible for the programme planning for Discovery Channel, Discovery Science, Animal Planet, Family France, DTX, World and HD Showcase across Benelux, France, Italy, the Nordics, CEEMCA, Middle East and Africa, as well as the pan EMEA channels.
This role will be working to tight broadcast deadlines, helping to plan scheduling and input schedules for some of the following factual global brands: Discovery Channel, Discovery Science, DTX and Animal Planet.
You will ensure the schedules are accurate and use the available inventory effectively; anticipating the audience needs and expectations and effectively interpreting ratings and research data. This role is also responsible for liaising with teams such as Listings, Content Operations, Media Planner and Compliance, ensuring that new content is ready to air.
This role requires a forensic attention to detail, an analytical approach, with good editorial instincts, and a passion for factual content.
Based in Amsterdam, this position will form part of the Content Compliance division of the Legal team providing comprehensive and proactive compliance, reporting into the London-based VP, Content Compliance. The Compliance Director will be responsible for overseeing compliance on all Dutch licensed channels and VOD services.
