  • Position Summary

    This role primarily provides benefits administration support to approximately 900 Discovery employees within the UK; performing activities associated with the delivery, implementation, and administration of benefit programs that are in support of the business strategy.

    Responsibilities

    • Administration - Responsible for the day to day administration of UK benefits including:
    • Employee eligibility and access to systems
    • Monthly reporting of benefit changes to Payroll and Benefit Providers from SAP including reviewing/auditing outputs
    • Working with HR Operations to ensure SAP reports are configured appropriately for provider needs
    • Recording and monitoring benefits for P11D reporting
    • Ensuring compliance with Company policies & procedures regarding eligibility & enrolment of employees and dependents 
    • Reporting - Carrying out audits of benefits data between 3rd party providers, SAP and ADP (payroll). Identify errors and correct discrepancies as needed. Running ad hoc reporting.
    • Communicating benefits - Acts as primary point of contact for day to day benefits queries from employees, managers and HR on all benefits. Monitors the UK Benefits mailbox and responds to queries. Responsible for ensuring a professional and timely response and escalating to manager when required. Delivers communications to employees about their benefits (e.g. new joiner inductions, promotional events)
    • Projects and events – Supports in organizing benefit fairs, liaising with relevant teams within Discovery and external providers to ensure everything is organized in adherence with Discovery’s policies. Supports on launch of new benefits or any UK benefit project work (such as the annual benefits enrolment window).

    Requirements

    • Proven experience in running administration for UK benefits including salary sacrifice benefits.
    • HR system experience desirable, with SAP & ADP experience preferable
    • Oriented to details, data and accuracy are critical.
    • Proficient in MS Word, and Excel.
    • Excellent collaboration, interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with ability to build productive relationships with all levels of co-workers and external contacts, working effectively through email/tele-conferencing.
    • Excellent customer service skills exhibiting a high level of professionalism, negotiation and influence, tact and diplomacy.
    • Solid organization skills with the ability to multi-task and work in a team environment.
    • Ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities to provide a high level of prompt and effective customer service in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to manage sensitive, confidential issues.
