  • Position Summary

    The Talent Acquisition Associate is responsible for the delivery of operational recruitment activity across Discovery’s UK digital business. The role requires a deep understanding of Discovery’s Digital landscape, as well as our range of products and offerings. Our Talent Acquisition team identifies top talent around the world for a diverse range of positions, managing them end to end. This role is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and become an expert in Digital for Discovery. You will collaborate with leadership, hiring managers and HR colleagues, and will shape the recruitment strategy to attract, assess and determine top Digital talent. We are looking for someone that will seek to deliver an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience and will be a trusted partner to our stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    • Recruit top digital talent across the UK and other geographies
    • Establish collaborative, customer-focused relationships with hiring managers and HR Business Partners
    • Ensure impressive candidate experiences
    • Partner with key stakeholders to identify strategy and creative sources to address hiring needs both immediate and long term
    • Become an expert for Digital recruiting on the Talent Acquisition team. Ensure other teammates are set up for success when recruiting for these positions
    • Regularly communicate recruitment status to Leadership, Managers and HRBPs
    • Build and maintain a candidate pipeline through both established and updated channels
    • Consistently connect with key stakeholders to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans
    • Develop repeatable processes and find ways to streamline recruitment cycle
    • Collaborate with HRBPs and Compensation to develop compelling offers
    • Keep all records up to date in ATS
    • Work with Manager and teammates to upgrade recruiting tools and resources. Share knowledge across a cohesive team
    • Participate in Global Talent Acquisition team projects

    Requirements

    • Digital recruiting experience required
    • In-house or digital agency recruiting experience highly preferred
    • Strong interest in the digital world, embedded in industry trends and ability to connect effectively with digital populations
    • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
    • Exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, discretion, and creativity to changing needs and situations
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, multi-time zone environment and ability to manage competing demands
    • Proven ability to influence and drive consensus among multiple parties
