    This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a world leading media house. As Designer in the EMEA Pay TV Team, you will work across Discovery’s portfolio of globally recognized brands and franchises. Reporting to the Creative Manager, the Designer’s responsibility is to support and build upon design execution and production.


    You will be part of a team with members based in Warsaw and London. Your core focus will be our Lifestyle brands HGTV, Food Network, Travel Channel and Fine Living, but with opportunity to work across our Factual and Reality brands, which include Discovery Channel, TLC and Animal Planet.


    You will apply your creative flair to stir emotion and elevate our IP in the minds of the consumer, the business partner and the internal teams throughout the EMEA region and on multiple platforms including TV, digital, social and print.


    Duties include: Creating assets and collateral for 360 brand and franchise campaigns (including promo packaging); aiding in production of brand style guides, toolkits, and literature; creating design elements for reels; designing compelling presentation documents for the marketing and commercial teams.


    The role requires a self-starter with individual flair, a passion for keeping up with the latest design trends, knowledge of industry software and creative experience in various motion, print and editorial design packages. Being organised and conscientious is essential. As part of an international team, the ability to consider the trends, needs and sensibilities of countries as diverse as the UK, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Russia, Romania, Saudi Arabia and South Africa is crucial.


    • Creative output for both On and Off-air and Digital elements.
    • Grading, online and packaging of On Air promotions.
    • Production of presentation reels and documents.
    • Maintain working processes and file managing.


    • Formal design education
    • Strong typographic and layout
    • Experience of print, digital and motion design (After Effects and Cinema 4D)
    • Strong understanding of all Adobe software and applications.
    • Strong understanding of Powerpoint
    • A knowledge of Avid and editing skills would be very useful.
    • Demonstrable knowledge and passion for branding and identity theory and practice.
    • Strong Communication skills
    • Ability to keep calm and prioritise in a high-pressure environment
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

    • Excellent English, the main language of the feeds, experience working with foreign languages/digital formats is an advantage.
