    Position Summary:

     

    The Lead Analyst - International Compensation & Benefits role is part of the Total Rewards team. Activities are associated with the design, delivery, and implementation of Reward programs in support of the business strategies.

     

    This role primarily provides advanced technical expertise to the International C&B and HR team, as well as playing a pivotal role in designing and creating tools for global employee reward initiatives. The role takes an active role in International Compensation & Benefits Projects, supporting the management team and at times independently leading projects or project activity.

    Responsibilities

    • Completes in-depth analysis on International Reward programs; conducts research, analyses data and identifies trends across Compensation and Benefits programs. Conducts data modeling, cost analysis and produces recommendations to support new initiatives or enhancements to existing plans.
    • Translates analysis into creative PowerPoints and dashboards. Develops and delivers training / presentations to educate HR and managers on C&B initiatives. Develops communication materials to educate employees about any changes.
    • Supports International Compensation & Benefits Projects including annual pay and bonus reviews.
    • Develops and reviews processes, policies and practices, producing analytical reports to support recommendations or initiatives. Reviews current practices and policies to ensure that best practices are being utilized.
    • Acts as International C&B lead for management of 3rd party compensation management tool vendor, Payfactors, ensuring smooth data transfers and reporting.
    • Acts as International C&B lead for the Employee Recognition plan including system and data management, budgeting, guidelines, analysis of usage and communications.
    • Responsibility for International Equity plan management including payroll reporting, auditing and quarterly share purchase.
    • Create simple and engaging functional tools in relation to C&B for HR, using advanced MS suite skills.
    • Partners with our HR analytics team in designing dashboards
    • Manages International salary survey data submissions, including matching of roles, transition of data and competitive analysis tools.
    • Oversees and supports the review of salary ranges across EMEA & APAC, using analysis of market data to recommend changes.

    Requirements

    • Degree educated or Equivalent
    • Expert advanced Microsoft excel skills, ability to design and maintain tools using Macros is preferable.
    • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills required, with mathematical aptitude.
    • Previous experience in Compensation & Benefits. Previous Towers Watson surveys and benchmarking methodology preferable
    • Previous experience of equity plans preferable.  
    • HR system experience
    • Ability to manage sensitive, confidential issues.
    • Aptitude for working and being successful in a virtual and culturally diverse team; working effectively through e-mail/teleconferencing.
    • Good customer service skills exhibiting a high level of professionalism.
    • Ability to prioritize duties and responsibilities to provide a high level of prompt and effective customer service in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong organizational skills including basic project management skills and ability to run effective meetings.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, as well as to develop and deliver presentations that clearly communicate complex analysis and ‘tell the story’.
