Following the acquisition by Discovery, the business is now re-energising its digital platforms to provide audiences in +50 countries (across multiple languages) with authentic, premium and innovative content. This is focused around the Eurosport Player (ES Player): an over-the-top (OTT) platform that gives customers access to linear and non-linear sports content. Having secured the exclusive European broadcast rights for the Olympics until 2024, there's no better time to join the Eurosport team in this incredibly exciting time of rapid growth and innovation!

Eurosport are excited to be recruiting for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager, focusing on ‘owned’ media channels such as SEO, and existing web properties (i.e. Eurosport.com and local variations). Reporting directly into the Senior Director of Acquisition, this is a new and vital role in the team, and key to our evolving digital strategy. The successful candidate will manage these channels to drive business growth, measured through increased traffic and subscriptions to the Eurosport Player.

    Responsibilities

    • Lead digital merchandising & CRO for the Eurosport Player, our paid OTT streaming service.
    • Lead organic search strategy across the business, reporting performance and providing strategic guidance to internal stakeholders (i.e. editorial & country marketing teams)
    • Own performance of the e-commerce funnel, driving growth through conversion rate optimisation
    • Lead website A/B and multivariate testing programme, clearly codifying our learnings
    • Work closely with the Product team on development roadmaps
    • Use analytics and third-party tools to deliver the possible customer experience
    • Manage two specialists across SEO and CRO

    Requirements

    • 5+ years experience with a strong track record in delivering success in similar role
    • Strong SEO expertise, experienced in both website architecture and content best practice
    • Demonstrable experience of driving growth through testing
    • A problem solver at heart, interested in working in a fast-paced agile environment
    • Highly analytical, with experience in measurement tools such as Adobe / Google Analytics
    • Excellent understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce environment
    • Clear communicator who is able to translate strategy into action
    • Effective at working across cross-functional teams
    • Knowledge of data analysis techniques including predictive modelling, multivariate analysis, querying and reporting tools, A/B testing and statistical significance
    • Must be fluent in English. Additional languages a plus
    • Experience in paid marketing (Search/Display/Social) and a passion for sports are also plusses!
