  • Position Summary

    Eurosport Player is Eurosport’s direct to customer online streaming service, where consumers pay a small monthly subscription for access to a wide range of live and on demand Sports, from the Australian Open to the Winter Olympics. It has seen incredible growth over the last year and is expanding its marketing team to continue to deliver its growth plans.

     

    This person will join the team to develop and deliver our brand and performance marketing campaigns that enable continued growth. They will lead our campaign development for some of our biggest sports events from the Australian Open to Tour De France. They will live and breathe the brand, they’ll be passionate, creative and up for the challenge!

    Responsibilities

    • Write inspiring marketing briefs for our agencies to deliver campaigns that hit our business objectives
    • Challenge our agencies to deliver best in class work, innovative TTL solutions and outstanding strategic input across all our campaign development
    • Own the smooth delivery of campaigns through our campaign milestone process
    • Outline campaign strategy to internal stakeholders to ensure all owned, earned and paid media channels are aligned with creative and messaging
    • Co-ordinate and lead the cross-functional team to successful, collaborative campaigns that are fully integrated
    • Lead the evaluation of campaign results, with actionable recommendations for future campaigns
    • Ensure deep consumer understanding underpins all campaign thinking, working with the research

    Requirements

    • 3+ years leading both brand and performance campaign development and delivery, agency or client side
    • Able to collaborate with, manage & influence internal/ external stakeholders across multiple levels
    •  Experience of working with agencies, developing strong, collaborative relationships
    • Demonstrates clear strategic thinking, can build strategic narratives, and has experience presenting to Head of /Director level review
    • Strong understanding of the role of consumer insight and the ability to apply insight in support of a creative or strategic challenge
    • Passion for sports and entertainment industries, and active interest in Sports marketing
    • Persuasive, and able to use insight to back up your thinking
    • Highly creative, live the brand in their work
    • Enthusiastic, excited by a challenge
    • Entrepreneurial thinker, will enjoy working in an exciting, fast paced, start up style environment 
    • Interest in digital/ OTT content distribution
