  • Position Summary



    This newly established role, reporting to the Manager of Accounts Payable in India, will take responsibility for the accounts payable function across our business in Australia and New Zealand, working with budget managers and GBS finance team in New Delhi to ensure prompt payment of suppliers within company guidelines.



    Accounts Payable


    • Receive, verify and process Vendor/supplier invoices in SAP R/3
    • Receive, verify and process staff reimbursements claim in SAP R/3
    • Prepare journal entries for adjustments
    • Perform reconciliation of accounts payable to statement of accounts
    • Work with budget managers to correctly code, approve and track invoices
    • Work with GBS India to ensure prompt payment to suppliers
    • Liaise and assist Tax Director on withholding tax
    • Diplomatic in handling internal and external suppliers and overseas counterparts
    • Assist in both internal and external audit including preparation of schedules or reports required for audit purposes
    • Assist AP Manager in monthly AP aging analysis and T&E analysis on ANZ business
    • Manage AP common mailbox
    • Support in adhoc projects and testing relating to AP functions
    • Investigate and resolve issues and discrepancies
    • Work to establish and continuously evolve AP processes


    • Degree in Finance or Accountancy
    • 2 -3 years Accounts Payable experience, preferably in the Sydney office of a multinational organisation

    Key Skills Required:


    • Good working knowledge of SAP R/3
    • Ability to meet deadlines and work in fast-paced environment whilst showing excellent attention to detail
    • Team player who is resourceful and possess with good communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problems solving skill, and independent judgement
    • Strong computer skills particularly in Excel and PowerPoint
    • Understanding of, and passion for, media industry particularly subscription television
