    About Discovery Golf:


    Discovery Golf is a new global venture from Discovery that will bring coverage from the best professional golf events to fans around the world. Discovery Golf is creating a new, innovative digital platform to deliver live content and special features that will change the way golf coverage is enjoyed.


    General Summary:


    This person will sit in the Discovery Golf Product team and will support the delivery of new and existing strategic partnerships for Discovery Golf for different markets across the world to drive subscription sales.


    Reporting to the Head of Product, this individual will be the point of contact with prospective and existing partners to ensure efficient and successful implementation of partnership deals.


    • Define best practice for partnership implementations using knowledge of industry standard solutions and keeping up to date with new developments.
    • Build and own product implementation roadmaps for new partners
    • Identify and communicate viable solutions for providing partners access to Discovery Golf platforms across a range of possible commercial models
    • Account Manage existing partners across the world to ensure the implementations are achieved on-time and meet strategic goals
    • Support the Partnership Business Development team in pitches to prospective partners to ensure they are deliverable, and the partner is clear on product solution.
    • ‘Onboard’ new partners once deal signed, putting in place the appropriate solution to sign-up customers depending on category e.g. telco, reseller, brand partner.
    • Liaise closely with Discovery Golf Product team to deliver solutions to partners that use current product features.
    • Define and pursue additions to the overall product roadmap that will enhance our ability to form and implement new partnerships.


    Key Relationships:


    • The role will be an integral member of the Partnerships team as well as the wider Product team. It will also liaise closely with central and regional Discovery/ Discovery Golf teams who are commercial points of contact to partners e.g. affiliate distribution teams.
    • In addition to external partners, the key relationship will be with the Discovery Golf Digital Product & Technology team who manage the product roadmap and technical delivery solution.


    • Experience managing product implementations with mobile operators and telcos
    • Familiarity with subscription business models, including buy-flows and user/identity management systems
