    The Senior Manager, Consolidation will be part of a team responsible for performing the global consolidation of the Company and facilitating the close of the accounting books. This individual will be expected to work closely with numerous stakeholders in the business to ensure proper accounting and consolidation system hierarchies, operation, and reporting of financial results while maintaining compliance with relevant financial reporting and regulatory standards (US GAAP, IFRS, and other statutory and regulatory requirements, as required).

     

    As a result, this individual should be comfortable working directly with senior management of the company as well as the external auditors. This individual will also be a key process stakeholder in the financial systems transformation at the company, including the development, implementation, and maintenance of accounting and financial consolidation systems.

    Responsibilities

    What you will be doing:

    1. Facilitates corporate accounting close through process excellence and use of systems and automation
    2. Lead the team responsible for the corporate accounting systems
    3. Drives transformation and change in accounting processes and systems to meet changing business needs, including serving as a key stakeholder in ERP and consolidation system migrations and implementations
    4. Reviews consolidation journal entries, intercompany eliminations, and consolidated divisional and subsidiary financial accounts on a timely and accurate basis for inclusion in internal and external financial statements
    5. Responsible for reviewing and approving maintenance and setup of the accounting chart of accounts in the ERP system
    6. Responsible for reviewing and approving user access and system changes in key accounting/financial systems
    7. Validates proper system functionality of foreign currency transaction and translation matters
    8. Develops custom reports to meet accounting and financial reporting requirements
    9. Works with Technical Accounting, Financial Planning and Analysis, Tax and SEC Reporting teams to establish proper accounting system structure to accurately reflect accounting matters in the books and records of the company
    10. Works closely with the Financial Systems team to ensure proper accounting system functionality and operation while maintaining compliance with relevant financial reporting standards
    11. Supervises individuals responsible for corporate accounting systems
    12. Coordinates with accounting teams around the world
    13. Creates and reviews presentations for senior management
    14. Accountable for the performance of a team, sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion
    15. Make decisions guided by established policies and procedures
    16. Other duties and responsibilities as needed

    Requirements

    What you need to have:

    * BS/BA in related discipline from an accredited university
    * Minimum of 6 years of experience and a strong understanding of US GAAP, IFRS, and SOX requirements
    * Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory/leadership role
    * CPA required


    It’s a plus if you have:
    * Performed the implementation of SAP ERP, SAP BPC, or other ERP/Consolidation systems
    * Subject matter expertise in SAP strongly preferred
    * Experience working with Hyperion, Peoplesoft ERP, OneStream, or other ERP/Consolidation systems
    * Experience with the financial consolidation of an SEC registrant with significant international operations involving multiple geographies and currencies
    * Experience working directly with external auditors to resolve complex accounting, consolidation, and reporting issues
    * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    * Attention to detail, accuracy and strong organizational skills
    * Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
    * Ability to meet deadlines under pressure
    * Must be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional team members at all levels
    * Experience implementing best practices that require significant innovation for improving processes by applying advanced understanding of complex functional/technical and business issues and challenges
    * Ability to anticipate resource requirements and to make adjustments based on emerging issues and priorities
