    Eurosport Digital are now excited to be recruiting for a Senior Brand Strategy Manager. Reporting directly into the Brand & Campaign Director, this is a new and vital role in the team. The successful candidate will join the team to develop our holistic media strategy across all channels to enable continued growth. They will lead our media strategy across all channels, and ensure best practice in planning, measurement and evaluation.

    Responsibilities

    • Own and develop annual holistic media strategy for Eurosport Player, translating business objectives into clear media principles, KPIs, measurement approach and a test & learn plan
    • Support the campaign planning process, ensuring all media plans fit media strategy and best practice, working with acquisition and retention teams
    • Evaluate media performance post campaign, and use campaign performance data to feed into media spend, strategy, channel allocation, and buying decisions
    • Work with on-air and editorial teams across the business to create a coherent owned media strategy, and optimise Eurosport Player’s share of voice
    • Develop a strong relationship with our agencies including our media planning, buying and creative agencies
    • Identify media partnerships, trends and opportunities across traditional and online media channels to develop our use of media communications, driving improvement and innovation
    • Be a champion for media planning across the business, embed an understanding of media best practice across the team, ensure it’s at the heart of our creative development too

    Requirements

    • At least 5+ years in media planning roles, agency or client side

       

    • Understanding of ATL and BTL channels, with particular experience planning multi-million pound ATL campaigns

       

    • Able to collaborate with, manage & influence internal/ external stakeholders across multiple levels

       

    • Experience of working with agencies, developing strong, collaborative relationships

       

    • Demonstrates clear strategic thinking, can build strategic narratives, lead debate and develop persuasive presentations for Head of and Director level review

       

    • Strong understanding of the role of consumer insight and the ability to apply insight

       

    • Passion for sports and entertainment industries, and active interest in Sports marketing

       

    • Persuasive, and able to use insight to back up your thinking

       

    • Enthusiastic, excited by a challenge
    • Entrepreneurial thinker, will enjoy working in an exciting, fast paced, start up style environment
    • Interest in digital/ OTT content distribution
