Position Summary

Eurosport Digital are excited to be recruiting the new role of Brand & Campaign Director (Olympics). The role is a newly established role for 6 months supporting the VP Markrting within one of our start-up hubs focusing on the Olympics. The role sits within our Eurosport Digital team on creating our new consumer OTT player, this is a European project and will include the opportunity to work on the Olympics which we have exclusive rights across Europe for the next eight years!


The Brand & Campaign Director (Olympics) will sit in the ES Digital leadership team and will own our brand, campaign and events delivery activities for the Olympics for different markets across Europe. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role will have a key focus on building our brand positioning and narrative, whilst ensuring that all our campaign plans have clear goals and a vision that drives creative direction and supports the strategy set for each initiative


  • Own the overall brand strategy, positioning and architecture.


  • Translate the company and marketing objectives into creative strategies, designs and execution plans that support the long-term vision.


  • Develop and manage an integrated and consistent brand look-and-feel across all channels.


  • Architect, implement and manage an efficient and pragmatic company-wide creative review process.


  • Provide leadership and effectively manage external creative services agencies. Manage budgets and timelines accordingly.


  • Establish, develop, and maintain creative, conceptual and writing standards as well as design parameters and stylistic guidelines for the brand DNA.


  • Build and manage a high performing team the embraces the company’s culture and core values.
  • Lead and oversee campaign planning for all marketing activities across Europe.


  • Review and provide creative feedback to creative team of their work relative to strategic goals, concepts and execution.


  • Utilize & leverage research to strengthen strategic brief and creative work: target audience insights, qualitatively test campaign concepts and quantitative testing.


  • Own event calendar and oversee agency and team work on delivering high profile events across Europe.


  • Degree level or above. M.Sc. in Marketing / MBA a plus.


  • Passion for all forms of Sports and entertainment, digital distribution and the implementation of new business / digital models.


  • Strong previous experience in leading delivery of high profile brand projects.
  • Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.


  • Acts to surpass goals, seizing opportunities to push the envelope.


  • Translates business goals into a well-defined performance plan and communicates link between current activities and goals.


  • Spends times identifying all stakeholders necessary and connects with all of them, to shape a collective buy-in and further push the marketing agenda.


  • Identifies opportunities to build relationships that will help others achieve their objectives and reaches out to those people.



Key Relationships

  • The role will be an integral member of the Marketing as well as the wider ES Digital team and be responsible for leading the work to drive ES Digital acquisition and growth plans. Other Key

  • Work with marketing, regional commercial, product, PR, finance, legal, operations and agencies to ensure marketing and commercial plans are communicated and executed as well as to drive awareness of the results across the wider business
