Position Summary

Reporting to the UK & International Content Finance Director the Senior Manager will help lead the core FP&A processes within the Content Function.  The Senior Manager is responsible for assisting in the consolidation of DNI Content forecasts, budgets and reporting as well as providing support to various regional and Corporate stakeholders.


  • FP&A responsibility for the Content function, including reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and all financial analysis
  • Development and preparation of Content-related financial “dashboard” reports for Senior Management, DNI Corp and DCI Corp team based in the US, including distinct analysis and reporting of output deal and local content
  • Lead investment commitment, cash & expense analysis and reporting; working with regional programmers & Global finance teams
  • Create and utilize tools to perform return on investment for programming
  • Support in financial and strategic analysis & reporting, including portfolio analysis, channel launches, brand performance, shared content utilization, etc.
  • Assist accounting in ensuring the accuracy of financial results for Content-related P&L line items
  • Coordinate with Discovery Corporate and DNI Corporate to meet reporting, budgeting and forecasting deadlines and requirements
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities as required
  • Management and development of one Analyst


  • Very strong proven experience in financial planning, management accounting and/or related field
  • Exceptional MS Excel and data analysis skills
  • Ability to meet stringent deadlines and work under pressure
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • International finance experience preferred
  • Excellent attention to detail


  • High quality degree, with strong background in FP&A
  • Professional financial qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent)
