Position Summary

Working within the engineering department supporting file base workflow deliveries and systems. The position is a 1st line support of the Technical Facility within the London Media Centre. Response to all operational enquiries and escalation to the 2nd line Engineering Support team as required.


This role is seen as a development role and as such you will work closely with the support team to learn the skills required to support our multi-platform facility.


  • Response to Operations enquiries and requests for technical assistance
  • Equipment Tracking and Auditing
  • RMA Management and Equipment Testing
  • Archive management
  • Archive purge & delete processing
  • Supporting Engineers with general maintenance both pro-active and reactive
  • Metrics Production
  • Fault Tracking


  • Broadcast engineering experience
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Experience in operation of complex broadcast systems infrastructure in a tapeless environment
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Hours of work may be changed as required
