Position Summary

The Product Marketing Manager is a new role within the Eurosport Player team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of the new Eurosport Digital team within a start-up environment working on a greenfield and nascent product across Europe. You will be charged marketing the new OTT Eurosport Player.


  • Develop core product positioning and messaging for key products and features, considering value proposition, target audience, competitive landscape and other factors.


  • Create the go - to - market plan, collaborating closely with Product Management, Design, Operations and Commercial teams, Marketing, Data Science and other cross - functional groups to determine effective launch strategy, including rollout sequencing, creative asset development, and communication goals to best drive awareness, engagement and affinity.


  • Influence product strategy and in - product communications through relevant consumer and product insights, driving alignment across teams when needed.


  • Support and coordinate the efforts of internal cross - functional teams, including Product Management, PR, Design and others.


  • Tackle complex problems with a strategic mindset, and create thoughtful recommendations and action plans for solving those problems.


  • Lead market assessment, quantitative analysis, qualitative feedback, and represent the voice of the market internally with Product Management and Engineering.


  • Run qualitative and structured analyses to identify market opportunities and create a data-driven product and sales channel strategy that is aligned across product, engineering and sales.


  • Collaborate with product management and engineering on product design and development.


  • Lead a cross-functional team including sales, legal, partner management and PR to successfully test and deliver new workplace solutions to market.


  • Partner effectively with Product Management and MarComm to lead world-class product marketing communications.


  • Communicate the value proposition of new products and features to go-to-market teams and deliver the effective sales collateral and packages that will attract and retain customers.


  • Drive product adoption and ongoing engagement by users by supporting effective go-to-market and customer success programs.


  • Create and own the sales and marketing plan for the EU, focused on rolling out impactful and cost effective programs to meet and exceed category goals


  • Deep dive on-site analytics to understand traffic and conversion data, and drive recommendations for maximizing sales and ROI; track high level performance against traffic goals (spend, conversion, efficiency)


  • Monitor forecasts taking into account seasonal peaks; Work with planning teams to optimize forecasting models


  • Ownership of full year marketing budgets; Propose cost-effective promotional and partnership opportunities that drive brand awareness and consideration


  • Interface with ES commercial teams to evaluate incremental or cooperative opportunities; calculate financials and present business cases to devices leadership teams


  • Extensive years professional experience, with demonstrated experience in a product marketing capacity (partnered closely with product management and/or engineering to represent market requirements and with sales to support product launches).


  • Strong quantitative analytical ability and excellent communication skills.


  • Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex, large-scale concepts.


  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, start-up environment. 5+ years of relevant work experience in sales and marketing, pricing, promotions and/or digital/high-technology consumer companies/products


  • A bachelor's degree is required


  • Fluency in English.


  • Demonstrated success in data intensive quantitative analysis and recommendations. Strong analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and feature concepts


  • Significant experience in successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment


  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills as well as a proven track record of taking ownership and driving results


  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including product management, marketing, creative, legal and merchandizing teams


  • Strong leader with excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with and influence all levels across ES


  • Proven ability to manage large numbers of initiatives and competing priorities


  • Proven ability to deliver against both shorter term tactical and long-term priorities


  • Experience working with SQL and Excel
