Execute a commercial strategy for existing and new Discovery channels and digital verticals in Africa, Turkey, Greece, Cyprus, Malta and Israel with the objective of increasing revenues through current distributors and new businesses.
Execute business development strategy with Senior Manager to ensure best prioritization of regions and initiatives.
Meet budgeted revenue goals with a view to cost/profitability implications of investments and new businesses across regions.
Support Senior Manager in preparation and execution of the Distribution Plan, including budgeting and forecasting annual revenue.
Manage all affiliate client relationships, negotiating distribution agreements and maintaining relationships and day-to-day contact in Israel, Malta, Cyprus and small size clients across Africa.
Position and grow Discovery Brand Image: work within a team to develop strategy and ensure execution of Marketing and PR activities across region.
Ensure all internal and external communications present and mirror the Discovery Distribution image and brand.
Follow internal processes and systems to fully execute deals: completes pre-deal analysis, notification, communication and feedback, and completes high quality paperwork and reports for all regions and clients.
Project work as required.
Proven experience in affiliate sales, or in business development, ideally in international environment.
Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
Educated to degree level.
Knowledge of and demonstrable contacts with key partners across regions.
Preferred knowledge of digital sales and / or products.
No direct reports.
Budget responsibility of over USD10m

Ability to exercise diplomacy to get buy in and support across internal departments and functions to meet regional goals
