Responsibilities

This is a permanent position, whose primary role is to provide support to local Distribution Team, Director of Distribution and monitoring all administration tasks. The Distribution Specialist will be in charge of administration of all agreements relating to Sales operations as well as all Affiliate Distribution project/tasks. Distribution Specialist will be developing and executing, in conjunction with Distribution Director and Manager, the Commercial Strategy and Policy for Discovery and Eurosport portfolio in Poland, helping to deliver the core KPIs of reach and ratings growth. Also, will be responsible for developing, implementing and tracking clear ROI measurement criteria and will dedicate most of time actively building relationships and making/closing small deals.

 

Supporting the work of the distribution sales team in their daily work, providing them necessary tools to use in the market (e.g. reports, presentations etc.)

 

  • Support Central Sales Operation Team with handling (collecting, translating, storing, scan, posting) agreements, clarify data bases, sort out existing and future contractual data
  • Filling internal sales/finance systems (DORS, SHDD)
  • Agreements, renewals, new channel launches administration
  • Maintaining IRD activation, re-activation through internal integrated tools
  • Dealing with subs reports, credit/debit, failed invoices with affiliates
  • Collecting market information
  • Supporting local B2B activities at small/mid-size operators
  • Handling of premium items

 

Manage Clients

  • Builds and maintains effective relationships with contacts
  • Develops as a trusted partner with identified clients
  • Exploits the brand and portfolio to search new opportunities and build distribution relationships

 

B2B Marketing Support

  • Coordinate execution of B2B marketing activities in cooperation with local marketing team
  • Supporting other local B2B activities with operators
  • Managing promotion materials shipment to clients
  • Support with clients’ meeting organization

 

Manage Deals

  • Takes accountability to implement the best market strategy to maximize revenues
  • Is commercial in creating deals: combines understanding of Discovery strategy and brand with market understanding
  • Leads negotiations and closes the smaller deals within remit and supports the Distribution Manager on medium or larger deals
  • Works collaboratively with the internal functions that contribute to developing proposals
  • Follows internal processes and systems to fully execute deals: completes pre-deal analysis, notification, communication and feedback, and completes high quality paperwork and reports. 

 

Organization and management of all finance relating activities in the office, including:

  • Maintaining evidence of all finance documents (invoices, expenses, tax correspondence, etc)
  • Ensuring all documents before sent to external accountants are correctly approved (invoices with PO, expenses approved by supervisor etc)
  • Monitoring courier contracts/costs, negotiating new rates
  • Monitoring of any other sales administration projects

Requirements

  • 1-2 years’ administrator/assistant experience, working in sales, distribution or marketing (alternative such an entrant)
  • Strong organisational skills & interpersonal skills
  • Good command in MS Office applications
  • Highly motivated
  • Team player
  • Good level of English
  • Good organizer and ability to work with minimal supervision
